I retired from my full time job at AT&T on Friday 19th Oct. 2018. I still have my adjunct teaching position at Mercer County Community College. October 22-2018 I wanted to record what my feelings were on the first work day after retirement. That was yesterday. You don't know what you feel until you are in that situation. I was, so I know what they were. I felt NOTHING! No sadness, no elation, no boredom, no nothing to do... In the evening Parvathi asked about how I felt during the day. What did I do? I got the passenger side view mirror fixed in my car. Mohammad came home and fixed it ($55). I went to Lenscrafters to get the eye exam ($69 - they always have some optional items that the insurance doesn't pay and I always go for them). I took a couple of naps during the day.
